Jay Rock On “Redemption,” Karma, Being Broke & More [Video]

A month after the release of Jay Rock’s long-awaited “Redemption”, and the rapper is still out here pushing the album, just as we are still out here playing it! While he was in NYC this past week, he stopped by the HNHH office to talk with us about the album. The album, not to mention Rock’s musical career, stalled a bit after he was in a serious motorcycle accident in February 2016. In our interview, we discuss how Rock thinks karma played a part in the accident, as well as how being broke financially results in a broke mentality, and how to get yourself out of that hole.
