Read moreNomad Carlos has released his second single this month, titled “In Us We Trust”, following up “Lavish Livity”, alongside Sonny Jim. The new song, produced by his partner in Arkhouse Music, Sosa, is an anthem-like pledge of allegiance to his team. The track features a cinematic, suspenseful backdrop and begins with the Christian prayer, the Our Father, recited by Nomad Carlos. He makes it clear as he calmly chants on the hook: “Ain’t nobody want it with us”. That’s why he says “in us we trust / it’s a must that we spread like dust / and keep it rocking from dawn till dusk”. The ominous music and thoughts articulated signify a mob of musicians bound by a code. “Politicking with my syndicate,” Nomad Carlos rhymes. “Carefully choosing who we do business with.” “In Us We Trust” ends with the last lines of the “Our Father” and before the instrumental fades out. Nomad Carlos says more music will be released moving forward. “I’m just working.. cooking up something for the custies,” he says. “It’s just that time to come out with some music consistently the Ark way.. #InUsWeTrust”
