Complex News had the opportunity to chop it up with YG at the pop-up, where he discussed everything from working with Drake and Lil Wayne, to his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar’s controversial gang-unifying sneakers, and, of course, his new album. “I knew I wanted the sound to be taken to the next level, so whoever I was working with, I told them I wanted some next level, West Coast sh*t,” he said.
