“Muhammad Ali was one of the people I grew up idolizing watching old boxing tapes and fights. From his shit talking and flashiness. From his humanitarian acts to his “radical” acts of defiance on behalf of not just the black race but the human race. Ali was polarizing. Ali was an extremely hard worker. Ali did the impossible. Ali effected my life and I was born way after he retired. Ali is something I wanna be when I grow up. Ali had the will. Ali is the GOAT.
Side note: I had a whole project with Mitch C Hennessey filled with Ali quotes and interviews that I had on uck for about 4 years, and I was holding on to it. I shouldn’t have. But that’s hind sight. Here is the intro song “Rumble, Young Man (Pray for the Bear)” from that EP. Inspired by his bout w/ and interviews leading up to Sonny Liston. Oh Yeah the EP is Called “Highly Praised”. I probably still wont release it.”
