A revealing interview, Kendrick spoke on how his own battles with depression would inspire him to make the song, and how his conversations and experiences with people from all over the world have inspired the new album. Speaking of which, he also hints that he’d like to “sneak drop” his new album, similar to Beyoncé’s 2013 game-changer, before the year’s end. So, perhaps we’ll see the album this year after all?
