Remy Ma Interview w/ HNHH [Video]

We got our girl Ashlee Ray to sit down with the newly-freed Remy Ma to find out what her plans are for the upcoming year and of course, discuss her time locked up and what it was like inside, as well as the reception she received following her release. Remy talks about her relationship with Papoose and how they endured during her prison time, as well as fiending for gum while she was locked up (she really loves bubblegum), and more. Here goes part two of three. In this part of our exclusive interview with Remy Ma, Remy speaks on linking up with DJ Khaled on the remix to “They Don’t Love You No More” and talks about Khaled’s passion for just about everything (including McDonalds). Remy also discusses the difficulty of keeping in touch with relatives and loved ones while she was away, and how it can be a strain on relationships. Part two finishes up with the New York native discussing all the raps she wrote while she was in her cell.

This part of the discussion leads into Remy Ma’s musical preferences as well as current rap music, as well as a media-contrived beef with Nicki Minaj, which Remy says is non-existent. Remy details a convo she had with Nicki Minaj where she told her, “do her what makes you happy.” That’s sound advice for just about everyone. Finally, in our current day and age, every fan base has to have a name (you know, Nicki has her Barbz, Beyonce has her Beyhive). Ashlee asks Remy what she’s planning to call her fans, to which Remy jokes, “real bitches.”
