Today I’m dropping off some new unreleased music in the form of “The Friend Zone” produced by often collaborator DJ Well Blended. This song will most likely land on my next full length project, Believing In Forever, which is a follow up to my recently released FreEP, The Dream Walker. Just wanted to drop off an unreleased tune for my supporters in the meantime. Devine Carama’s Thoughts “We’ve all been there. The one please that nobody wants to be, but a place you don’t mind hanging out around until you see the opportunity to get to the place that you really want to be. This song breaks down a situation where a guy is feeling a woman that has placed him in that dreaded “friend zone”, only for him to escape and find love with another woman.”

De La Soul feat. Consequence – Vocabulary Spills (Remix) [Stream]

“Vocabulary Spills” is the lead off release from De La Soul’s “Smell The D.A.I.S.Y.” project which features Plug 1,2 and 3 performances over sound beds constructed by the late J Dilla. Consequence and De La Soul have a storied history as affiliates through the “Native Tongues” and Cons was one of the 1st Artist to be featured on J Dilla’s production (See A Tribe Called Quest’s Beats,Rhymes and Life LP). This collaboration has been 10 years in the making and now it’s finally here.
