Big K.R.I.T.: “I Really Dig Me As An Artist” [Video]
“I really dig me as an artist,” the Mississippi-bred rapper told VIBE backstage at Rock the Bells 2013. “I’m the kind of artist … it’s one of those things where I can kind of sing, I can rap, and I don’t mind sampling my own voice. I really dig producing for myself.” For his next LP, Big K.R.I.T. is doing it all. In addition to his usual self-made approach, the King Remembered In Time rapper is also linking with several producers, like The Neptunes’ Chad Hugo, Terrace Martin and 9th Wonder. “I’m gonna try and record as many songs as possible before I drop my project,” he says, so don’t expect it out anytime soon. Check out more details about his new LP in the VIBE TV video above.
