Raekwon Talks Wu-Tang Clan Album, Possible Tour & “F.I.L.A.” Album [Video]

Raekwon is a legend in the rap game that still spits with the hunger of a freshmen and has the grind of a man who has something to prove. This is why there will be no shortage of material from the Chef in 2013. He started things off with his Lost Jewelry EP in January, and plans on releasing two more big albums. One of which is his solo album, F.I.L.A, and the other will be the long awaited Wu-Tang Clan album, titled A Better Tomorrow, commemorating their 20th anniversary.

In an exclusive sit-down with Sermon’s Domain at Alive & Well’s clothing store in Capital Hill, Raekwon talked about what it was like to perform at Coachella this year and a few topics about the Wu album. In regards to the album, he reveals that he didn’t find out about the title until it was out to the public, explains the type of sound he hopes to achieve through it, the possibility of hearing some unreleased ODB and if we’ll see a Wu-Tang Clan tour this year. We also briefly spoke on his solo album that’s still “baking in the oven.”
