Here’s a new joint from Jean Grae. Enjoy!

Comedian/actor/filmmaker/writer DC Pierson’s new young adult novel Crap Kingdom is out today, and to celebrate its release, he gathered up a bunch of talented hip-hop and indie rock artists to contribute to a compilation of cuts inspired by the book titled Songs For Crap Kingdom.

In particular, check out Jean Grae’s Crap Kingdom-inspired song “Special,” where Grae sets it off over an ultra-chill beat, “In a world full of bodies that are moving through the world like a movie intro/Introspect, yeah, shuffling alongside, keep feathers unruffled/I fly below the radar even though I know I can soar.”
