A diligent, focused Rozay visited radio stations WEDR-FM (99 Jamz) and WPOW-DM (Power 96), taking calls live on the air at the former, and greeting contest winners and running through a series of tapings and a mountain of drops at the latter, before wrapping the day with an album signing at a local Best Buy. Beanie Sigel Started Drinking Lean At 8 Years Old [Video]

The Philly rapper begins the interview by discussing a track he did with Bun B entitled “Purple Rain”, a song which explores the use of “lean,” a popular drink in hip-hop culture usually consisting of liquid codeine mixed with some type of soda. Beanie then touches on his experiences with the drink, explaining that he first tried it when he was just 8 years old. Shortly after this interview, Beanie was arrested after being pulled over.
