Machine Gun Kelly Talks SXSW, Touring With Tech N9ne & His New Single With DMX [Video]

AllHipHop caught up with MGK at the Austin Convention Center during SXSW and spoke to the man behind the Lace Up movement about his goals for this year’s festival and how he plans to fit in performing on the Vans Warped Tour this summer while he’s also on the record breaking Hostile Takeover Tour with Tech N9ne and his Strange Music stable. MGK also talked about working with his idol DMX on the rapper’s comeback single “I Don’t Dance,” the fact that DMX will also be on Kells’ Bad Boy Records debut later this year and who is one more idol who he would kill to work with. The video also includes some of MGK’s performance footage from his set at the S.O.B.’s 30th Anniversary concert.

In addition to footage of Kell’s performing, filming a scene for the music video with 2 Chainz and chopping it up with Joe Budden backstage at the S.O.B.’s 30th anniversary showcase, he talked about his newly released Half Naked and Almost Famous EP which is available now on iTunes and if any of the EP’s tracks will end up on his Bad Boy Records debut this Spring.
