This companion piece to his acclaimed Broadway play Hamilton and it’s official soundtrack features contributions from such esteemed guests as Nas, The Roots, Chance The Rapper, Queen Latifah, !llmind, Joell Ortiz, Jill Scott and several others. I don’t know how well this will sound as a straight play through for people who haven’t seen the play or aren’t at all familiar, but it has certainly got some gems. You’ll definitely want to check out “Wrote My Way Out” with Nas and Dave East, as well as Chance The Rapper and Francis & The Lights take on the original soundtrack song “Dear Theodosia”. (via)
