He and his EPMD counterpart are also currently touring with other hip hop legends Run DMC and more. The rapper explicitly explained his entrance into hip hop. His older brother was intensely involved with the pioneers and Smith was given signed vinyls of the Wild Style soundtrack. He also explained that before Rakim was his rival, he was his mentor before discussing the demise and mending of EPMD.
