As a part of The Micranots and the Universal Vibe Squad, he helped make a mark that provided an unquantifiable impact, an aftermath of inspiration and an influence that can still be felt and heard today. “Self Destruction”, his first solo album, was a key turning point in his career as he took the time to look inside and give the listener a more personal view. The result was an album that differed, in many ways, from what he had done previously, but not without reflecting on some of that past in the songs’ narratives. With “Self Destruction”, we witnessed the perfect fusion of the music and man, all the triumphs as well as the challenges.
