Gensu Dean & Wise Intelligent (Poor Righteous Teachers) – Ooh Wee (Shakiyla Pt 4) [Video]

Posted on June 20, 2017

After releasing their newest album, the team of producer Gensu Dean and MC Wise Intelligent are back to share a new visual for the song "Ooh Wee (Shakiyla Pt. 4)." The new song is a journey into the woods, while Wise Intelligent explains his views on spirituality, sexuality and the connection between the two. A continuation of Wise Intelligent's efforts with Poor Righteous Teachers, "Ooh Wee" is another chapter in the story of "Shakiyla." The original, from 1991's Pure Poverty, is a look at materialism in relationships. Twenty five years and three parts later, Wise Intelligent's perspective has changed and now sees the spirituality and knowledge of romance and sexuality.

Gensu Dean & Wise Intelligent – Game Of Death [Album Stream]

Posted on June 2, 2017

Gensu Dean and Wise Intelligent release their new joint effort, titled "Game Of Death".

Rooted in Universal Science, the album takes dead aim at mediocre, dumbed down, manufactured rap while treating Music as the weapon it is. This is cultural warfare bridging the gap from Roxanne & Biz Markie to Jay Electronica & Erykah Badu. Bending time & space, Gensu & Wise take listeners through history with amazingly wide-eyed clarity. With statements as straight-forward as “Your shit aint Hiphop if it’s corporate” there is no missing the message of self-determination. This is the type of liberation that starts with your mind and is more about what you shed than what you add on. Somebody say Amen.

Take a listen below.

Stik Fifa feat. Chuuwee – Child’s Play [Audio x Download]

Posted on April 25, 2017

For professional MCs like Stik Figa and Chuuwee, rapping is child's play. The two rappers team up with classic hiphop producer Gensu Dean for a fiery new bonus cut. Some may recognize the beat from Gensu Dean's recent Rhythm Roulette appearance on Mass Appeal. The beat was frankly too good not to create a track on - so Stik & Mr. Chu decided to lay some no non-sense street gospel for everybody from small towns to big cities. Enjoy and download for free.

"Central Standard Time" out now!

Gensu Dean feat. David Banner – The Cross [Audio]

Posted on April 13, 2017

Producer Gensu Dean started his career in Jackson, Mississippi on Crooked Lettaz (David Banner & Kamikaze) debut "Grey Skies". Since then, David Banner has gone on to a storied, Grammy Award-winning career. Gensu Dean has racked up the production credits having worked with Roc Marciano, Large Professor, the late great Sean Price, Denmark Vessey, Planet Asia, Homeboy Sandman, Diamond D, and Shady Records' newest signee Conway The Machine. Along the way, Gensu & Banner have remained close and have collaborated on a smattering of tracks over the years. Most recently, David Banner has been working on his soon to be released album, "The God Box". During Banner's Atlanta sessions, he and Dean cooked up his new non-album track "The Cross". Adding the finishing touches, legendary mix engineer Hector Delgado put his spin on things and the track was ready to go!
