Awaxx & Ariano – Alive [Album Stream]

10 years of friendship and a love of music has translated into a new project by Awaxx & Ariano. Together, they bring you Alive. This is not the first collaboration by Awaxx and Ariano but it is without a doubt their best effort to date. Awaxx has been releasing material for years with consistency and a high level of presentation. On Alive, he paints his vocals over a canvas of cross-genre production with poetry and heartfelt words, delivered with a sense of urgency and the experience of a life lived to the fullest. Ariano is no stranger to the California Hip Hop scene, always evolving since his days of laying hooks with groups like The Visionaries, and artists like Snoop Dogg and Crooked I. Ariano has taken his sound to the world since then and has laid a bass-heavy and raw, but polished, production on the Alive EP. Alive allows you to get to know Awaxx on a more personal note, while Ariano continues to show his range on the production and hooks. The features on the project range from Living Legends own Scarub, to Long Beach veteran Philieano, to D.A.The INM, T.R.3, Mr. Crowley, Openmine, January High, Father Poet, Castur Pollux, and Josh Dominguez, with Ian “ENS” Silverman on guitar All add their own artistry to bring a cohesive project to light. T.R.3 of the IMG crew is a young artist on the grind from Atlanta to Cali. Fresh off his Prelude EP and viral hit “Statistics,” T.R.3 teams up with veteran West Coast producer, Ariano, for a collaborative EP, Together Alone. As a follow up to their first single, “4 AM”, T.R.3 joins forces with the legendary Zion I, IMG family member DeShane Bankhead, lyrical poet Sage One The Wise, and fresh face Josh Dominguez on the Ariano-written hook to bring you “The Whole World”. The sample-free track reflects the dichotomy and duality of being increasingly frustrated with the world around us, while still loving life and all that it throws at you. Ariano feat. Sage Price – Anymore [Audio]

What makes “Anymore” so compelling is not just that Ariano is clearly a gifted lyricist and producer. It’s the fact that the single, which is the latest off his upcoming ‘Love Is Not Lazy’ EP, demonstrates his knack for crafting engaging and catchy music that also carries a message. Of course, this isn’t a surprise to anyone following the Los Angeles artist’s career, or anyone who peeped his previous single, the politically charged “Everything’s OK.” Ariano weaves easily relatable narratives within his verses on “Anymore,” which plays like a final send-off to a former friend who was eager to take, but never give anything in return. “Anymore” also serves as a major collaboration for Ariano—because it features the first-ever released vocals from his 15-year-old son, Sage Price. The young and super-talented vocalist provides the fittingly moody chorus, which is likely to stick to your brain once the track fades out. Not only that, but there’s some slick guitar work from Ian Silverman aka E.N.S. on here to boot, which Ariano deftly fuses within the song production. “Anymore” can now be streamed through all major streaming outlets, and is available as the second instant grat track off the pre-order for Ariano’s forthcoming EP, ‘Love Is Not Lazy,’ which is due out next Friday, December 9th!
