Flashius – Good Fella [Audio]

Cali-based emcee Flashius keeps them bangers coming!

Today Flash is gifting y’all 10-plus minute lyrical exercise called “Good Fella”. This joint is actually made of six different beats produced by three different producers tied together with Goodfellas samples. Further, each mini song has a separate title, and one even has a guest verse from Estee Nack. When we asked him if it was a continuous EP, he responded, “Nah, actually it’s a suite.” Ha! You gotta love these dudes’ originality.

The first three sections of the suite—”Intro”, “Howard Grimes”, and “Oil Can Boyd”—are all produced by KSD affiliate Nephew Hesh, while the next two—”I See” and “Young Vito”—are handled by The Historian. Farma Beats is responsible for the last movement titled “Corn Starch”. Rather than break down each one, we’ll just say there is a common chill vibe that strings together the beats, and that Flash just gets nastier and nastier with each verse. By “Corn Starch” he is simply spewing molten lava with lines like, “Fort Knox gold bars stored up in the vault / a horrible assault / when I’m killin’ the ill loop / ya bitch-ass recruits / will eat the heel of a field boot.”
