Wyclef Talks Being An Extra For An Eric B. & Rakim Music Video, New Album “Carnival III” & Much More [Video]

Haitian rapper and musician Wyclef Jean stopped by Sway in the Morning and we talked to him about everything from how he got his start in the industry through playing jazz to his first ever documentary, which is set to premiere on July 9 at 9 p.m. ET on TV One’s popular series Unsung. After eight years since his last full-length album, Wyclef will be dropping Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee on September 15 through Legacy Records. Thus far, he’s dropped two singles “Fela Kuti” and “What Happened to Love” (check out the full track list below).

We also asked Wyclef to give us his take on the recent controversy surrounding Kendall and Kylie Jenner over their controversial T-shirt line. The Jenner’s are reportedly being sued for appropriating images of The Doors and other icons.
