Read moreIn July, rapper, OG Maco, got into a severe car accident and nearly lost his eye. In a sit-down with DJ Vlad, the 24-year-old explains his intense reconstructive surgery and opens up about what happened the night he and his entourage got into the wreck. “Basically, we got f***ed up.” He said, “And when you get f***ed up the person who’s supposed to drive wasn’t driving so you put a young, inexperienced guy in a bad situation in the middle of the night with drunk people and loud noises and hella complaints, and somebody hit us.” The rapper says he doesn’t know why there were reports of fatalities from the crash, however, did detail his extensive surgery. When Maco’s car was hit, he says he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and hit the hard part of the dashboard which cracked the bone under his eye, causing his eye to drop. For doctors to repair the damage, he says, “They had to go in through my face and add some s*** here,” while patting the area, “This s*** isn’t real. I don’t know what it is. It’s f***ing surgical magic.” In the interview, Maco talks about the importance of wearing a seatbelt, other celebrities who’ve lost their lives and limbs during car wrecks and nearly having to undergo another surgery after his eyepatch almost ruined his retina.
