As one of the biggest artists on early Roc-A-Fella, Freeway showed the world Philly’s untapped talents. The gruff-voiced rapper with distinctive beard sat down with us for the newest episode of SUPER… to whip up a hero befitting his long legacy in hip hop. With day job as a “mild mannered rap star by the name of Freeway,” you might begin to question how wild the powers will get. But the full extent of Freeway’s passion for his own beard is made known as he describes how it would be able to deflect bullets and grows more powerful over time, only weak to a groupie with a set of clippers. The Bearded Wonder watches over Philly, keeping it safe against the likes of other minor super heroes like Spider Man. Of course, the powers of his #bars are not to be overlooked.
