Shortly after his lecture at MIT, we caught up with Prodigy to discuss on his longevity in the game as well as his lecture series regarding his experience in the prison industrial complex. Kicking it off, Prodigy tells us how the heartbreaking sales numbers of Mobb Deep’s first album “Juvenile Hell” pushed both him and Havoc to up their game and put in that extra effort needed to be the superstars they are today.

Moving on we discuss his recent string of lectures and how in doing them he hopes to open up discussion with todays students. Being a high school drop out he mentions how honored he feels to be able to open a dialogue with the students today and discuss his experiences with a new generation.
