The Visionaries – All Along [Audio]

The Visionaries’ song “All Along” is the first official new song from the West Coast Hip Hop Super Group in 10 years. Rhett samples his good friend, the talented producer/musician/composer Adrian Younge in the latest Visionaries song. Emcees Key-Kool, LMNO, Dannu, 2Mex, & Lord Zen all trade verses over a haunting yet heavy drum break beat talking about bucking the system! The other Double A-Side song, “Stratasphere” is a new song from Crown Royale (Jamall Bufford of The Black Opera & Rhettmatic). Jamall fka Buff1 gets down on a spacey Boom Bap track that Rhett lays down along with traditional scratch chorus hooks, on some dynamic duo DJ/MC steeze.

Red Eye feat. Born Unique – Baddest MF [Audio]

Larger-than-life Queens-based rapper Red Eye proves he’s the “Baddest MF” with a raw new single off his highly anticipated (and hilariously named) new mixtape, ‘Fatrick Ewing.’ The Orlando, Fla. native opens the track by talking some serious sh*t and straight-up commanding the bruising instrumental from Swedish producer DJ Qvali, who also handles the cuts on the hook. It’s the perfect setting for Red Eye to make slick references to everything from NFL players to Egyptian gods, all while kicking crazy rhyme schemes. Qvali’s instrumental, which would absolutely make DJ Premier proud, suits the track’s guest equally as well. That’s Virginia-based spitter Born Unique, who stomps all over the sample-heavy beat and proves he deserves his spot on a track titled “Baddest MF.” Red Eye’s mixtape, ‘Fatrick Ewing,’ is set to drop April 19. In addition to Born Unique, the project will feature the likes of Joell Ortiz, Blaq Poet, Tragedy Khadafi, Bekay, and other heavy-hitters.
