B.o.B. Talks “Psycadelik Thoughtz”, Sevyn Streeter & Auditioning For “Straight Outta Compton” [Video]

After surprising fans with the release of his latest album ‘Psycadelik Thoughtz’, B.o.B joins DJ Skee to discuss the making of the project on SKEE TV. Bobby Ray describes the album cover art as originally being “a narcissistic ode” to himself, to get painted like a “multi-faceted God.” After seeing it, however he said he felt that it was a great representation of his musical versatility and eventually led the mixtape to turn into an album. Later, B.o.B speaks on his endeavors with acting and his audition for “Straight Outta Compton.” “I’m more naturally like Dre because you know as a producer, I’m like a thinker. With Q, you gotta like shift it.” He says if he ever has a movie made after him, he would want it to have a psychedelic feel and he’d like to be the one to produce it. Bobby Ray also addresses the importance of his label “No Genre,” his relationship with T.I. and his relationship with former girlfriend Sevyn Streeter.

Rome Fortune – Dance [Audio]

Produced by new beat hero Kaytranada, “Dance” is unlike anything we’ve heard from Rome before — a melodic anthem in the grand tradition of dance-my-pain-away jams. The single is another pleasing curveball from this one-of-a-kind artist, who’s equally at home trapping in a jeep with ILoveMakonnen and Rich The Kid on “No Ma’am” as he is guesting on Four Tet tracks and popping up at Boiler Room. With his first international tour on deck and the single release (accompanied by a unique app that lets Rome chat direct to fans – and put his blue beard on their own pics!) the future is looking very bright for Rome. Stay tuned for more as he puts his finishing touches on the “Dance” video and his highly-personal upcoming Fool’s Gold LP, Jerome Raheem Fortune.
