ASAP Ferg Talks New Album, Jay-Z & Diddy Being Fans, Giving Back, Fashion & More [Video]

One of the wildest characters in Hip-Hop, A$AP Ferg, takes time out on the couch to chop it up about what he’s been doing since he released his debut album Trap Lord. Ferg is currently in the studio working on brand new material, and touches on the producers he’s working with like Pharrell and Jahlil Beats. He says the next project should be released in November and will be totally different from his first offering. The first single, New Level could actually be out any day now to give us a taste of what he means. The Ferginstein reveals that Jay-Z put Timbaland on to his music and let’s us know how it feels to have the likes of Hov and Diddy as fans of his music. The Harlem rapper has just signed his first artist Marty Balla as well, whom he’s gearing up to create a buzz for, and get his movement going as well. Along with becoming somewhat of an executive, Ferg has been active in his community by setting up a free clinic in which he offered free check ups, showed people how to gain health care and gave a free concert for the fans who participated. The young man has been putting in a lot of work outside the studio, and has a lot more in store including a clothing line he’s planning to drop in the near future.

Dee-1 – Can’t Ban Tha Hopeman [Audio x Download]

Dee-1 is back with a new joint titled, “Can’t Ban Tha Hopeman”. It is produced by Greedy Money. Earlier this week Dee-1 announced that his mixtape “Separated At Birth,” which focused on highlighting Lil Wayne tracks in a different manner, had been banned for numerous reasons. Even after discussing the mixtape on Sway In The Morning, the reasons for the mixtape being banned still remain unclear. At this point it is evident that the mixtape will not be coming out, however as a response to the situation Dee-1 has released “Can’t Ban The Hopeman” (Produced By Greedy Money). This track gives fans closure to the banned mixtape situation and helps gear up for more music coming soon form Dee-1.

U-God feat. Cannibal Ox & Kool Keith – Journey (Remix) [Audio]

The second single from A3C Volume 5 comes from legendary artists U-God (of Wu-Tang Clan), Cannibal Ox and Kool Keith. While the A3C Volume series has always focused on showcasing emerging artists, iHipHop Distribution and A3C found it fitting to salute the godfathers of today’s sound. U-God, Vast Aire, Vordul Mega, and Kool Keith have always been ahead of their time, and these New York MCs prove just that on this futuristic remix to U-God’s “Journey,” which was originally released on U-God’s last solo album The Keynote Speaker. U-God is currently preparing his next album, Venom, for a 2016 release on Babygrande Records.
