J. Cole Interview w/ Tavis Smiley [Video]
J. Cole hasn’t done a lot of interviews since the release of “2014 Forest Hills Drive” but he did recently visit The Tavis Smiley Show to discuss a variety of topics. He talked about the meaning behind his song “Love Yourz”, his gift of story telling, being a “bedroom artist”, his bond with his home at 2014 Forest Hills Drive in North Carolina, what he listened to as a teen, being a college graduate and turning into a successful rapper, being a natural competitor, being attached to his family, being fond of reading and much more. He also broke down a few tracks from the album including “A Tale Of Two Cities”, “Fire Squad” and “Love Yourz”.
