Lil Herb reflected on working with both Nicki Minaj and Common and how both business moves have helped to boost his career exponentially. Herb explained how Nicki quickly flew him out to record “Chiraq” with her at her personal studio shortly after speaking about the musical union from a distance. He also reflected on how he’s worked with fellow Chicago native, Common, on many occasions, and how he contributed to “The Neighborhood,” which was the opening song off of Common’s Grammy-nominated Nobody’s Smiling album.

Black Milk Interview w/ NPR [Stream]
