The beat makers first explained how Sway got them in contact with Dave East after watching him on the show. In addition to playing some music from the Harlem hip-hop heads, the Dave East explained a few of his songs and why he feels as though he is still involved with his hometown. Before they left, Sean C and LV gifted Sway in the Morning Citizens with some unheard beats to which East kicked a dope freestyle over.

Since releasing his Beach House EP back in January, the L.A. crooner has seen his single “Paranoid” wreck havoc on the charts, graced the cover of XXL’s annual Freshmen issue, and been invited along on Wiz Khalifa’s ongoing “Under The Influence” tour. Recently, HNHH caught up with him on that very same tour to discuss his mixtape Sign Language. We’ll be getting that very soon, according to TY, who said: “The only thing I’m waiting on is for Wiz to do his verse.” The singer also revealed features by Jeremih, Yo Gotti, YG and Jay 305. When asked what it’s like when Wiz and him are in the studio together, Ty Dolla said: “Magic. We just pull shit out of the air and put it on record… Smoke hella weed.”
