Has-Lo & CASTLE – D.L.S. [Stream x Download]

This is taken from the upcoming, all-new Has-Lo & CASTLE full length collabo album “Live Like You’re Dead” dropping July 29th. “D.L.S. is the shit starter on the album. If the mission isn’t clear by the time you reach this track, it’s crystal afterwards.” – Has-Lo “D.L.S. is produced by our man Arcka. Has and I went crazy when we heard the beat. It was just a matter of rolling with the energy. This song is what this album is all about.” – CASTLE The new album is creativity unfiltered. It’s reaching for the nearest vice, raw loops and disrespectful bass. It’s smiling when reminiscing on the past, and laughing because it feels good. D.L.S. by Has-Lo & Castle

D/WILL – Ready. Aim. Beautiful. [Free EP]

Here it is my instrumental FreEp “Ready. Aim. Beautiful.” to carry us until my emcee/producer project “reset” drops on iTunes 7/21. “Reset” is soulful but it pulls and tugs at the speakers a bit. With Ready. Aim. Beautiful I created a small beautiful/complex instrumental ep because I kept having dreams that I needed to lol. Woke up one morning over the top thankful!!!! I mean everything was awesome– from the taste of the coffee to the crispness of the blue sky It felt like someone had just saved my life or somn. I was in tears of joy from sensory overload and I was so thankful. For a few weeks I would wake up in the mornings with these extreme feelings so I decided that I would use it as inspiration! Stay tuned family “Reset” is gonna be a big record and ill have plenty of updates and visuals, but until then enjoy “Ready. Aim. Beautiful.” If you want more insight on “Ready.Aim.Beautiful” just drop me a line in the comments and I got you. Download: D/WILL – Ready. Aim. Beautiful.

Lord Jamar & Sadat X: “Iggy Is The White Replacement For Nicki” [Video]

Brand Nubian members Sadat X & Lord Jamar sat down with VladTV to share their views on Tyler, the Creator and a joke he made at Iggy Azalea’s expense, for which he later apologized. Sadat X says that while he likes a few of Tyler’s songs, his youth is likely the reason his comments can be inappropriate at times, and that if he continues to be in the rap game, eventually he’ll mature. The conversation then turns to the offended party, Iggy Azalea, whom Sadat X says is the industry trying to make a white female rapper popular after Bay Area rapper Kreayshawn fell off the radar. Lord Jamar takes it a step further saying Iggy is the industry’s attempt at replacing Nicki Minaj, a statement with which Sadat X agrees.
