One Dae – Daes & Times [Album Stream]

Daes & Times is the official debut album from the Boston bred rapper One Dae. After diving head first into New York’s battle scene of the late ‘90s, Dae made an instant splash after squaring off with Mos Def, landing him a write-up in The Source Magazine, titled “The Death of Battle Rap.” Since then, the fiery emcee has made Brooklyn his home and has toured the world over, making music under his terms, without compromise. After releasing several mixtapes, singles and videos, One Dae is pleased to release his long awaited debut through his newly formed Daelight imprint, via Coalmine Records. The album enlists an impressive roster of guest features that includes Evidence (of Dilated Peoples), Sean Price, C-Rayz Walz and Statik Selektah, and boasts production from boom-bap specialist Marco Polo, Australia’s M-Phazes, and the legendary Domingo (KRS-One, Fat Joe, Big Pun, Kool G Rap), among others.

He spoke about his Innanet Tape mixtape, life as a solo artist, dark times he’s faced and what has gotten him through, the concept behind his Save Money movement and much more. This is Vic Mensa like you’ve never seen him before.

Knightstalker & Falling Down – Kept In Perspective [Free EP]

We’re proud to finally present you the “Kept In Perspective” EP! It’s a collaboration effort to showcase Knightstalker’s lyrical performance on the microphone as well as Falling Down’s production skills. The combination of neck snapping production combined with witty wordplay and storytelling builds the foundation of this 8-track effort. Standout tracks include the thrilling opener “Tank Traps On Times Square”, based on a fictional but yet vivid “what-if” situation, the boom-bap posse cut “Times Have Changed” featuring Staten Island veterans 9th Prince (Killarmy), Fes Taylor and Dark Skinned Assassin, the thoughtful title track as well as the sad but yet angry “Black Ribbons”. Other guests on the release are MidaZ The Beast, Kinetic 9 (Killarmy), Bugsy Da God and DJ Modesty. Download EP
