ScHoolboy Q returns to STASHED TV for the second installment of SESSIONS. Picking up where we left off with him last time, the TDE rapper speaks to us about why he hates performing “Hands On The Wheel,” the most annoying interview questions and why Instagram video sucks.
“Everybody say that because I feel like everybody feels bad. Cause most rappers you hear, the second artist from the camp I guess you can say… like I’m the second artist about to drop a major album. You know most of the rappers that have the rapper homie, the rapper homie is usually just alright. Or he got the deal because he was his homie or whatever but it wasn’t the case with me,” says Q about following Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city.
“But whatever. It is what it is, it’s like somebody being signed to Kanye they are gonna ask about Kanye all the time, or if you signed to Jay you talk about Jay all the time. I’m signed with one of the artists that is the king of the culture right now so people are gonna ask me that all the time. I just got a lot to prove to people.”
