Game – Dead People [Audio]

A Chat w/ Dom Kennedy [Video]

While in Miami last month for his Yellow Album world tour, I caught up with Dom Kennedy for our first interview in over 2 years! Saying that “time flies” would be an understatement. The last time Dom performed in Miami was in September 2010 where he co-headlined alongside Pac Div. The show happened to be the first live concert I produced under my company Bread and Butter events and was a great success that only motivated me & my partner to keep bringing underground hip-hop to South Florida. With that said, it was only right that I started things off with asking Dom the difference between the turnout between then and now as his name has grown much larger since. Dom also speaks on how he feels he’s improved since his first mixtape release in 2008, the reaction to “My Type of Party,” what music means to him and more.
