Immortal Technique Talks Middle Passage, EP’s, Documentary, New York [Video]

Exclusive in-depth interview with Immortal Technique at Rock The Bells . Part 3 starts with Technique talking to Nick Huff Barili about his new documentary: The (R)evolution of Immortal Technique and how he wouldn’t have been able to accomplish all he has if he was signed to a major label. Tech goes on to define what success means to him: not by what you have but what you had to sacrifice to get to where you are. And at the end of the day if you are not happy then you are not successful. As the interview continues Tech says that he is working on his new album The Middle Passage along with two Ep’s, one of which is with an underground legend from the West Coast. Any guesses?? We have ours. He goes on to talk about how New York Hip Hop artists have kept a distance from working with other regions and how he wants to end that. There is a lot that can be learned from different regions including the South. Check out the exclusive interview where DMX shares details about almost signing with “Bad Boy” and explains how Biggie Smalls helped him appreciate a smile: DMX’s new album, “Undisputed” is in stores now, and there is no disputing that musically, Dark Man X is back on top of his game. In an exclusive sit-down with AllHipHop.com, the rapper reminisces back to his unsigned artist days and shares a story about nearly signing a record deal with Bad Boy – but being looked over in favor of The Lox. “You know the Lox got signed before I did, they were a “safer” group,” said DMX.
