Marvin Gaye – Ain’t That Peculiar (Oddisee Remix) [Video]

Not sure if you know or not but my new album “People Hear What They See” is dropping exclusively on iTunes June 5th & everywhere else on June 12th. You can pre-order it now if you’d like. Before the album drops, I wanted to share some remixes & edits I put together of various tracks. I remixed songs by K-Os, Bon Iver, Metronomy & one of my favorite artists of all time, Marvin Gaye. After recording vocals to all of them, I felt it was only right to slap a cover on it & release it. The EP is called, “Odd Renditions” & will be available for FREE download on May 15th. Here’s a video to one of the tracks on the EP. The video was done by editing several pieces of footage found of Marvin Gaye performing the song. – Oddisee

Coultrain – She’s A Hustler (Prod. By Waajeed) [Audio]

I was approached by Universal UK a few years back about doing an album for TV licensing. They asked me to chop up and recompose library tracks from their archive – sounds like a dream, right? I wanted to do epic, upbeat tracks that would go well with the cinematic environment they were meant for. Coultrain and I whipped up this track with the legendary Paul Randolph on bass. Enjoy and download if you’re subscribed to the newsletter! – Jeedo
